Hello Everyone:
While I was cooking I got this idea. Why not share with fellow members and guests about ginger roots, not ginger ale?. Although I am not a fan of ginger ale, but when one is not well especially with fever and sore throat and accompanied with cold or flu, I find ginger ale works wonders (if you are not a diabetic etc.)
Ginger root is natural and very cost effective that you find it everywhere. If you are not sure or have difficulty, look it up at any Chinese supermarkets.
Ginger root has the ability to restore the heat we so require to balance our bodily functions. Imbalance in our body's ying and yang over a long period of time can cause energy blockages, which ultimately give rise to illnesses- whether it is a short term or long term illnesses. Some of you might have heard about treating the source not the symptoms of the illness.
Ginger root can be introduced to your daily cooking, which will enhance your circulations, especially for the joints and arthritics conditions. It is an excellent introduction for the ladies who are suffering extreme menstrual cramps and who do not wish to use the over the counter pills and wish to stay away from the chemicals. Keeping the womb warm and healthy is very important. It is like keeping your life force – your source of power in a great condition. Too much of ying especially during menstruation can be detrimental not only to one’s health but also an issue if one is having difficulty conceiving.
Next time I will be sharing with you as to how you can use ginger root for your cooking. These are methods developed generations ago and is truly ancient, works beautifully today.
I would appreciate comments from you.
Enjoy and have a great life.
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,
Reminds me of my wife and my mother and my grandmother and my great grandmother's recepies. You are very traditional. Your family must be really lucky. They have doctor mum and chef rolled into one.
