Wealth Building and Financial Independence
What does wealth building really mean to you? Many people seem to equate wealth with just money. And as such, they are not focussing on the correct aspects of the parts of wealth building toward financial independence.
Isn't this the dream of every entrepreneur on Earth? To arrive that magical number is tantamount to Eutopia. But what is that magic number? How much do we really need to achieve that lifestyle free of financial worries?
But first of all, let's take a more comprehensive look at what wealth truly is and what parts of one's life that needs building in order to really achieve Financial Independence.
1) Relationships
How well do you get along with the people of the world around will dictate your overall success. The deals and profits and losses you will have all depend on the relationships with people. Who are these people?
They are your family, your friends, your business associates, the services people, the authorities, etc. They are anyone and everyone that will have an impact on your life.
So isn't it wise to be on as good terms as possible with people? Remember, that great piece of business tip or a joint venture that may make the difference between making tons of money or poverty.
2) Well Being
This is your health. Well known are the atheletes in their prime of health and at the top of their field can strike it rich. But when age or poor health overcomes them , their carrers as the super athelete is often over. Similarly if poor health is an issue for the work you do or your business, then your income will likely be jeapordised.
Staying healthy for longer periods simply equates to a longer productive life. And a longer productive life means far greater wealth creation over your lifetime. That's precisely why there is the concentration on improving health care.
3) Knowledge
Going to school is a start as you learn the basics of education. Later in life, specialization will allow you to develop your skills for particular jobs.
But other educational aspects need to be addressed for other developments in life. You may start a business. What is normally required here are the specialised courses and training in the various independent businesses. But more importantly, the input of the experienced entrepreneurs is the most valuable.
Wisdom is the next stage of the teacher/apprentice learning stages. It is at this stage of the learning when the learned will be required to mentor the apprentices in the use of heuristical applications of knowledge for faster progress.
4) Life Aspirations
This is the inner voice, the desire or a great secret love for something you wish to be. Where do you want to be 10 years from now? What do you want to achieve? Were you once that little kid who wanted to be an adventurer like Indiana Jones or perhaps Lara Croft, Tomb Raider.
It has been shown that in a large number of children as they made up their minds to be in a certain career like being in law enforcement or perhaps to be an entrepreneur, they often grow up and naturally and eventually move towards that early choice.
But it is never too late to listen to that inner voice and direct your efforts toward that outer result.
5) Financial Aspirations
This is the sum of our outer desires. Everything we earned, the empire we built is ultimately accounted for on a piece of paper and simply reduced to one line of numbers known as the bottom line.
How much are you worth in dollars? But understand that this is the result of all the above parts of true wealth building. The great ultimate value in money is rarely achievable or not at all without all the other wealth building elements in place.
